The Bread of Life for You
Jesus claims to be the God of the burning bush and to show us who that God is and how that God rescues and saves. We would be content with the bread that molds and goes stale. However, Jesus comes that we would have an everlasting Bread. He comes that we would have nourishment from the Word of God. Man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Here he is, the Bread from Heaven, the Word of God. He is sacrificed for you and baked in the wrath of his cross that you would have life. He rose again that you would live with him forever and never hunger and never thirst. Thanks be to God that he has sent Bread that lasts to eternity and it is all for you.
