Condemned No More

17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

Condemned No More
The charges leveled against the living God are brutal. “If this is a loving God, why does he let thus and so happen?” The world has its sights set on the spoils of the world and the pleasures of sin. Dead in our sin, we desire this captivity and cannot distinguish between the temporary suffering and sorrow of this life and the joy and glory of the eternal life that is ours in Christ. Christ is lifted up that every single person, man, woman, and child would live with him forever. He takes on the most cruel and vicious enemies and is victorious over them all. God sent his Son into the world to save everyone and lead you in victory to his eternal throne. In Christ, you have no condemnation. There is no threat. There is no death. No enemy has dominion over you ever.
