The Word Made Flesh for You

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14

The Word Made Flesh for You
In an age of empty words and broken promises, John declares something utterly unique: the eternal Word became flesh. God Himself entered our world, not as an idea, but as a man. This is not poetic metaphor or religious myth; it is the profound mystery of the incarnation. Jesus, true God and true man, walked among us with feet that would be pierced, hands that would bless and bleed, and a voice that would speak mercy to sinners. The glory John speaks of is not worldly splendor, but the glory of the cross, God’s grace revealed in suffering. There, Christ bore your sin and shame to make you God’s own. Full of grace and truth, Jesus meets you still in Word and Sacrament, delivering the gifts He won. The Word made flesh is now the crucified and risen Savior, who gives His flesh and blood for your life. Thanks be to God.
