Make Room
2 Make room in your hearts for us. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have taken advantage of no one. 3 I do not say this to condemn you, for I said before that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together. 4 I am acting with great boldness toward you; I have great pride in you; I am filled with comfort. In all our affliction, I am overflowing with joy.

Make Room
The Lord does a great and miraculous thing. He takes your heart of stone and casts it aside and makes a heart of flesh. He gives it a right Spirit. He does not cast you from his presence, but calls you close to him and to all those he has redeemed. The Faith that the Holy Spirit plants and sustains in each of you is the same as the Faith he planted in the Corinthians. It wells up to good works and right confession in Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is by the Word preached to you and the Sacraments given to you that you are comforted and sustained in this one true Faith. Rejoice in the good gifts of your God.
