Faith Speaks

13 Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak, 14 knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence. 15 For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.

Faith Speaks
Our faith is not a silent, private matter. As Paul writes, “I believed, and so I spoke.” True faith cannot remain hidden because it’s fueled by the certainty of the resurrection, Christ’s victory over sin and death, once for all. This confidence moves us to proclaim the Gospel, even amidst suffering, because our own lives are shaped by the cross. Just as Jesus bore our sins and was raised, so we, sharing in His death through baptism, are assured of sharing in His life. Paul reminds us that everything we endure serves a purpose: it’s all “for your sake,” building up the Church and extending grace to others. By speaking faith in Christ, our words become a testament to God’s mercy, inviting others into the same hope. As we proclaim Him crucified and risen, His life flows through us, bringing glory to God and blessing to those who hear.
