The Truth in Christ

I am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit—that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh. They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

The Truth in Christ
The great power of the Gospel is Jesus Christ himself. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through him. In the midst of a fallen world that claims personal truths and confuses opinion with facts, we have an absolute truth that will not waver, does not change depending on circumstance or person, and that endures forever. This truth is Jesus Christ himself. We can hang our heart and our lives on this truth. You have been adopted into this great truth by the power of the Holy Spirit. He has declared it to you. God's desire is that all turn from their sin and believe. He still desires that the Israelites, the Jews, return to the Lord their God. However, he will not stop lavishing the love he has for the world despite their hardness of heart. He has gifts of the Cross for you. He has forgiveness, life, and salvation with your name on it. You are his and that makes him very happy.
