Have No Fear
“I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him! Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Have No Fear
Don’t forget that God made you both body and soul. You are not two things sandwiched together with one being more important than the other. Your God made you one person with both body and soul. That is how he means you to be. The devil would convince us that our bodies don’t really matter. He would teach us not to care about our bodies in life and in death. And the devil knows that he’s pulling a fast one. He has no truth in him. He always lies. He has no power over your soul and therefore no power over you. The only one that you should fear is God alone. He is the only one that you should trust. Jesus Christ is your one Redeemer. He comes in the flesh of Mary to redeem and save your body and soul. So, fear God. Trust in him alone. He is your only love. Nothing in all of creation is forgotten by God. You are more worth to him. You cost him his only Son. In giving him, he gained the two of you back. Fear not the devil’s rage and spite. He can harm you none.
