Never Alone

And he arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to him on her behalf. And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she rose and began to serve them. Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

Never Alone

We often feel alone and left to our own defenses in this world. The devil desires nothing more than for you to feel as if no one cares about you. And it is too easy to succumb to this way of thinking as we live in a world that continues to reject its only salvation, Jesus Christ. But Jesus has not abandoned you, He cares deeply for you. He healed many people with a word and a touch. His works reveal the bond between sin and sickness, which corrupts the world and touches our lives. We pray that Jesus would deliver us from evil and protect us from the effects of sin. Christ can forgive and restore you by His grace. He restores us so that we might serve Him faithfully and share the Goods News with all He places in our lives. We are never alone, as our faith points us to our Savior and His cross. Cling to it and know His love.
