The Father Loves You
25 “I have said these things to you in figures of speech. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech but will tell you plainly about the Father. 26 In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; 27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. 28 I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”
John 16:25-28

The Father Loves You
There is a profound shift in your station and position. In faith, you ask the Heavenly Father. Wrapped in Jesus' righteousness, you become dear children of God and can ask your dear Father just as children ask their father. Your Heavenly Father loves you and wants you to speak to him. Even though he knows all the thoughts of your heart, he desires that you pray. He delights in you and your words. You are the delight of the angel hosts. Jesus' love for you has washed you of your sins and transformed you in holiness. Because Jesus first loved you, now, you love God and neighbor. You love Jesus and the Heavenly Father loves you. He gives you all the treasures of his kingdom.
