Born of God

10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
John 1:10-13

Born of God
The world did not recognize its Creator. Even His own people rejected Him. But God’s mercy is not undone by human blindness. To all who receive Jesus, who believe in His name, God gives the right to become His children. This is no natural birth, no effort of the flesh or will. It is a divine gift, born from above. Through the cross of Christ, the One despised and rejected becomes the source of new life. There, in blood and suffering, He made us His own. Not by our decision or lineage, but by grace. Faith in Christ is not a human achievement; it is God’s work in us. Baptized into His death and resurrection, we are reborn as sons and daughters of God. In a world that did not know Him, we are known and claimed by Him forever. Rejoice, your adoption is sealed in the cross.
