Fear Not, For Christ Has Come

12 Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. 13 The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia, 14 and came to make you understand what is to happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”
Daniel 10:12-14

Fear Not, For Christ Has Come
When Daniel is overwhelmed by fear, the angelic messenger speaks tender words: “Fear not.” These words, echoed by our Lord throughout Scripture, bring comfort to all who wait upon God. Daniel’s prayers were heard the moment he spoke them, though the answer was delayed due to unseen spiritual warfare. How often we are tempted to despair when God seems silent or slow! But through the cross of Christ, we know our prayers are heard, not because of our strength or righteousness, but because of His mercy. The battle behind the scenes in Daniel reminds us that the real fight is not against flesh and blood. Christ, however, has already won the decisive victory on the cross. Though delays and darkness trouble us, our Savior’s triumph assures us: God hears, God acts, and God loves. Fear not, Christ has come, and in Him, the victory is yours. Keep praying.
